Gratituesday: Grace

Keeping it simple today. I am thankful for grace. That when I trip and fall flat on my face, bumping some innocent bystanders on the way down, I am forgiven. I'm grateful that tomorrow is new with no mistakes in it yet.

If Grace is the unlimited, unmerited blessings of God due to the totally adequate work of Christ on the Cross then it goes beyond just the times we sin and is actually the entirety of the life we live in Christ. Additionally justification means that past sins are not monuments to our folly, but instead monuments of Christ's righteousness. The accuser cannot win.
