Gratituesday: My sewing machine

This might sound a little silly but I am quite thankful for my sewing machine. My mom taught me some of the basics of sewing when I was growing up and let me try my hand with her machine. I am so thankful that I have been able to continue sewing and learning. It has allowed me many hours of enjoyment (ok, with a little frustration in there). I love that I have been able to save us so much money by making some things. I am thankful that I have been able to help other people by sewing, mending or altering things for them also. It really has been a blessing! I am hoping that soon I will be able to open a little shop on Etsy so that we can save a little extra toward something big.
